Notice of Availability for Finding of No Significant Impact
Federal Highway Administration Finding of No Significant Impact Document
A public hearing was held on Thursday, June 9 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Twin Pike YMCA, 613 Kelly Lane, Louisiana, MO to allow the public to comment on the environmental assessment which includes the preferred location of a new bridge. The Champ Clark Bridge Environmental Assessment has been signed by all necessary parties, which means MoDOT and the Illinois Department of Transportation can now move to the next phase of the project; a step closer to funding and building a new bridge. This document is available to the public (below). The recommended location for a new bridge is just south of the existing bridge.
